Desert Highway Bases
1. Glue a layer of Cork Mat to the base covering approximately 2/3 of the surface
2. To create pot-holes, damage the surface of the cork with a craft knife or clippers.
3. Prime the entire base with Black Primer.
4. Add a suitable Mud/Texture paint to the base not covered by cork.
5. Drybrush the Cork with a mid to dark grey such as Administratum Grey
6. Apply Details such as Skulls and rocks to the roadside.
7. With masking tape apply two parallel lines to the roadside.
8. Stipple Flash Gitz Yellow between the two pieces of masking tape and then remove the tape.
9. For larger bases this process can be repeated to mark out a white line for the centre of the road.
